Ancestor Biographies:

A tradition at Chester Station Camp meetings is the presentation of a framed Ancestor Biography to one of the camp members. The biography is researched and written by Camp Historian Steve Cormier, who uses personal information on the ancestor that a compatriot/member has provided to him and standard sources on the history of Confederate units to create the sketch. Below are the texts of the Ancestor Biographies that have been presented to members of the camp. The primary purpose of the Sons of Confederate Veterans is to pay homage to our Confederate ancestors. This is one way that we fulfill this obligation in the Chester Station Camp.
