| ChesterFest
is a big hit for the camp and the community.
Come out and see us in September, 2008
We have a 10' x 10' recruiting booth at
ChesterFest. This is a great chance for us to recruit new
members with attendance between 4,000 & 5,000. Our booth
is normally located next to the South stage where we give
out over 400 recruiting coins and sell T-shirts and flags.
Summer
Breakfast at Ray Grubb's Riverside Resort every August. Ray's

Annual Christmas Meeting
Our annual Christmas meeting for is held
in the traditional place, the lovely home of Jim and Robin
Daniels that stands high above Trent's Reach and the James
River Valley east of Chester. The house sits upon the foundation
of the Civil War-era Howlett House. Robin prepares a sumptuous
meal for the members and guests. There is no speaker, nor
is there a business meeting, just fun, fellowship, and good
eating, as these photos attest.

Veterans Day Ceremonies in front of the
old Chesterfield County Courthouse. We participate each year
by presenting a wreath and our Chester Station Camp Color
Guard represents the Chesterfield County Civil War Veterans.
Past
Commander Robert Wray presents a wreath next to the Civil
War Memorial Plaque.
